Welcome to the JC Livestock web site . John Cardwell and his wife Lynne farm 100 acres at Church Farm, Haywood near Doncaster in South Yorkshire . The farm is stocked with a commercial beef herd of 50 cows and the Stocksbridge herd of pedigree Limousins. There are always several potential show cattle within the herd and Spring born calves are sold in the Autumn of the same year at approximately six months old. The calves are batched into suitable groups of bulls and heifers for private sale in September. Careful selection of breeding bulls means the calves are well shaped, being tall, long and with good hind quarters. Several buyers return every year to purchase the calves proving JCLivestock consistently produce quality cattle at competitive prices. All the cattle on the farm are farm assured and the farm is situated in a low risk TB area.
